"Self-esteem is so tied up in how we feel about our bodies. When I can improve someone's figure even their face becomes more beautiful because their self-esteem has skyrocketed. True beauty is not a technical thing; It comes from within and how we feel about ourselves."

After

Description: This 32 year-old woman had a bilateral congenital tuberous breast deformity with severe asymmetry and ptosis of the right breast. Tuberous breasts are characterized by a narrow “tube-like” shape, a short flat lower pole (the part from the nipple down to the crease that is supposed to be teardrop shaped), a high inframammary crease and a large nipple areolar complex. This patient is now six months after bilateral dual plane breast augmentation with smooth round moderate profile plus silicone implants, 300 cc on the left and 275 cc on the right, and a right periareolar lift.

After

Description: This 39 year-old woman just wanted her breasts to look like they did before childbearing and breastfeeding—she wanted them to be perkier and fuller, but not any bigger than a B cup. Here she is one year after bilateral subpectoral breast augmentation with 225 cc smooth round moderate profile plus silicone implants and periareolar mastopexies.

After

Description: This 42 year-old woman already had silicone implants in the subglandular position and periareolar lifts, but after childbearing and breast-feeding, her breasts sagged and lost volume. Here she is 18 months after removal of her implants, replacement with 300 cc smooth round silicone moderate profile plus implants, and bilateral vertical (lollipop) mastopexies.

After

Description: This 26 year-old woman had undergone a bilateral subpectoral breast augmentation with 400 cc silicone breast implants two years earlier. Since she had preoperative existing breast ptosis, she developed a “snoopy” deformity, where the implant is sitting high under the muscle and the breast tissue is hanging below it. The after pictures were taken six months after a removal of her implants, replacement with smooth round silicone 265 cc midrange profile implants, capsulotomies and bilateral Wise Pattern (anchor scar) mastopexies.

After

Description: This 35 year-old woman is six months after bilateral subpectoral breast augmentation with 400 cc high profile smooth round silicone implants and vertical mastopexies. The breast tissue sagged laterally preoperatively, and the lift moved it more medially so that the nipple is now centered on the breast. This shaping required vertical incisions that angle more medially rather than straight up and down.

After

Description: This 38 year-old woman wanted to replace the breast volume that she lost with childbearing and breast-feeding. Here she is three months after bilateral subpectoral breast augmentation with smooth round 400 cc high profile saline implants and bilateral vertical (lollipop) mastopexies. She chose the high profile implants because she wanted to have a “push-up bra” look.

After

Description: This 38 year-old athletic mother of two had previous saline implants placed on top of the muscle 15 years ago. They had since become saggy, hard and rippled. She is now three years s/p removal of her old implants and replacement using 375 cc smooth round silicone high profile implants subpectorally, and bilateral vertical breast lifts (lollipop incision).

After

Description: This 33 year-old woman had previous subglandular breast augmentation six times, but felt that her breasts were still droopy and developed a contracture (hardening of her breast implant) on the right. She is now 18 months s/p bilateral removal of her high profile subglandular implants with capsulectomies, subpectoral replacement with 300 cc smooth round moderate profile plus silicone implants and bilateral vertical (lollipop) lifts. She currently wears a C cup bra.

After

Description: This 36 year-old woman had a congenital tuberous breast deformity—that is, a short distance from the nipple to the inframammary crease, a narrow base, and an enlarged nipple areolar complex with breast tissue pushing it forward, making it puffy. Each one of her breasts is an example of the different ends of the “tuberous” breast spectrum. Here she is two years after subpectoral augmentation with smooth round moderate plus profile silicone implants, 600 cc on the right and 450 cc on the left, right periareolar mastopexy and left vertical (lollipop) mastopexy.

After

Description: This 24 year-old woman was a B cup and wanted to be a DD cup, but also to have her nipples made smaller and sit higher on her breasts. Since she had some significant pseudoptosis (breast tissue sitting below the inframammary crease, especially visible on the side view) and in addition to bilateral subpectoral breast augmentation with 397 cc midrange profile smooth round silicone implants, a periareolar mastopexy was performed to center her nipples on the breast and prevent a snoopy appearance. This patient is now three months postoperative. This is the time when the periareolar incisions are at their most visible.
