This 39 year-old woman suffered from severe back pain, neck pain and headaches as well as bra strap grooving and rashes due to her large breasts. She wore an H size or up. On the right, she is three months s/p bilateral reduction mammaplasty using a supero-medial pedicle, Wise Pattern (inverted T) technique. The supero-medial pedicle assures a good blood supply and high likelihood of retaining nipple sensation, which she did. Postoperatively she is a DD, which is the smallest she could be made without risking wound healing problems. A certain amount of tissue has to be left for the nipple and skin to live on.
