Bilateral Brachioplasty (Arm Lift) and Arm Liposuction

Procedure Details

This thirty-eight year-old Los Angeles woman had some weight loss and had severe laxity (looseness) of her skin both before and after she lost the weight. On the right she is two months after a bilateral brachioplasty (arm lift). This procedure does require a long incision, but it is placed in the bicipital groove (on the inner part of the arm between the biceps muscle so that it is not visible from any angle with the arms at rest. Liposuction of the arms is done at the same time to allow for maximum skin removal. You can see that she also underwent a skin-only full abdominoplasty at the same time.
