This fifty-five year-old Los Angeles woman had developed "thickness" around her middle, as she described like a "tire" that started after menopause. She was always thin before, and she eats a healthy diet and exercises regularly. It is very common for women to gain weight around their middle in the peri-menopausal time due to lack of estrogen, which causes a redistribution of fat on the body. In the pictures on the right, she is three months s/p a Menopause Makeover which included liposculpture of her abdomen, back and flanks and a breast reduction, which also gave her much better symmetry of her breasts. She went from a DDD to a full C cup and she also went down several clothing sizes and has her waist back. It is also common for breasts to enlarge after Menopause.
