Breast Reduction from an H cup to a D cup

Procedure Details

This 58 year-old Calabassas, CA woman had severe back and neck pain as well as headaches from her extremely large, pendulous breasts. She also had bra strap grooving. On the right she is four months after bilateral reduction mammaplasty, reducing her H cup breasts to a D cup. A total of one kg was removed from each side--that is equivalent to a two-liter bottle of diet coke all together, or a total of 4.8 pounds. The procedure was performed using an inverted T incision with a superomedial pedicle for blood supply to the nipple. This is the smallest that these breasts could be made without possibly compromising blood supply to the nipple and skin and creating wound-healing problems. The patient is thrilled and wishes she had done this a long time ago.
