This 56 year-old woman had an android (male-like) body habitus with narrow hips and a high waist and almost no body fat. Her problem was her deep abdominal wall that was loose and caused her back pain and kept her core from being strong. She underwent a full abdominoplasty (tummy tuck) with translocation of the umbilicus (making a new belly button) and liposuction of her flanks. On the right side she is six months after the procedure. The scar is low enough that it is almost completely hidden in her bikini line. After the procedure she feels that her core is much stronger and she no longer has aching in her back.
