The amount of skin to be removed decides the scar. A periareolar or vertical lollipop pattern handles mild to moderate descent; a full anchor is reserved for tissue that genuinely needs it. Dr. Trott will show you which pattern your measurements point to at the consultation rather than promising the smallest scar before examining you.
Many Beverly Hills patients arrive wanting an implant when the tissue only needs repositioning, and some need both — a lift for position and a modest implant for upper-pole fullness. Sizing is done with the lift plan already drawn, not before it.
Support bra for six weeks, no overhead lifting for four. Local patients are checked at one week and three weeks. Scar care starts once the incisions are sealed — silicone taping in the office, then at home, for three months.
