A comfort operation as much as a cosmetic one
Neck, shoulder and upper-back pain, bra-strap grooving, rashes beneath the fold, and exercise that has become impossible, these are the reasons most patients finally book. Reduction reliably relieves them. It is also a lift by definition: the nipple is repositioned as part of the operation, so the breast sits higher and reads younger, not just smaller.
Sizing for proportion, not for a number
The goal is a breast in proportion to your frame, one that fits standard bras, disappears under a blazer and does not swing during a run. Dr. Trott discusses this in terms of proportion and function rather than a cup letter, because the letter varies by manufacturer and tells you almost nothing about how you will look.
Consultation and surgery in 90212
Consultations are at 462 N. Linden Drive, Suite 240, with validated parking in the building. Surgery is performed at an accredited Beverly Hills facility minutes away, and Dr. Trott books one patient per operating day. Local patients from the Flats, Century City, West Hollywood and Brentwood are typically home within a few hours of leaving recovery.
Recovery, realistically
A week for most desk work, walking immediately, and no chest or heavy upper-body training for six weeks. Scars are placed to hide in a bra and swimwear, and scar care starts early. Most out-of-town patients stay within a five to eight minute drive of the office, The Peninsula, the Beverly Wilshire and the Beverly Hills Hotel are the three our patients return to, and all three are used to discreet post-operative arrivals. See the Beverly Hills guide for where to stay, what to eat during the soft-food week, and which walks are flat enough for early recovery.
