Along the jawline and neck, the tissues have been lifted and repositioned in the deep plane, creating a sharper mandibular border and a smoother submental contour. The buccal fat removal refined the lower cheek, adding definition between the cheek and jaw while keeping the midface full. The nasolabial fold is softer because the cheek pad has been repositioned upward, not because the skin was pulled tight.
