DAXXIFY is not recommended for patients who are pregnant, breastfeeding, or who have a neuromuscular disorder such as myasthenia gravis or ALS.     What to Expect

    A DAXXIFY treatment is quick and comfortable, usually taking about 15 to 20 minutes. Dr. Trott uses a very fine needle to place tiny amounts of the product into the specific muscles responsible for the lines being treated. Most patients describe the sensation as a series of small pinches, and no anesthesia is required, though a topical numbing cream is available. There is little to no downtime, and most patients return to their normal activities right away. You will be asked to avoid rubbing the treated areas, strenuous exercise, and lying flat for a few hours after treatment. Subtle softening typically begins within one to three days, with full results visible in about one to two weeks.

    Other Considerations

    DAXXIFY results are not instant, so plan your treatment at least two weeks ahead of any important event. Mild, temporary side effects can include small bumps at the injection sites, headache, or slight bruising, which usually resolve within a few days. Because DAXXIFY lasts longer than traditional neuromodulators, precise dosing and placement matter even more: a treatment that lasts six months should look beautiful for all six months.
