Upper blepharoplasty is performed at Linden Drive under local anesthesia. The excess skin is marked with you sitting upright, so the crease is planned in the position your face actually holds. You are in and out in about an hour and you drive yourself home.
Lower lids are usually about fat position rather than skin. Repositioning that fat over the orbital rim softens the hollow instead of leaving a scooped, skeletal lower lid — the classic mistake that ages an otherwise good result.
Bruising is the limiting factor, not pain. Sunglasses cover it by day three, sutures come out at day five to seven, and makeup goes back on at one week. Most patients are on camera again inside two weeks.
