    Most patients are comfortable being seen in dark glasses and a scarf around day seven to ten, presentable without explanation at two to three weeks, and camera-ready by six weeks. Local patients are seen at the office the day after surgery, at one week for sutures, and again at three weeks. Because the practice is minutes from the Flats and Trousdale, those visits are short.

    Coming from outside Los Angeles

    Out-of-town facelift patients plan on fourteen days locally. That is long enough to clear the first-week check, remove sutures, and fly with the swelling largely resolved. A private nurse or aftercare residence can be arranged; several are within ten minutes of the office.
