After approximately 15 minutes on the centrifuge machine, the components of the blood separate and can be made into the PRP serum. If you are getting microneedling, this will be performed as the serum is prepared. The treatment area(s) will be cleaned and a numbing cream may be applied to help keep you comfortable. Then, the serum will be carefully injected into the needed areas of your skin or scalp. Once your PRP therapy is complete, a cold compress will be applied to minimize swelling.
