Upper Blepharoplasty with Removal of Skin and Medial Fat Pad

An upper blepharoplasty involves removal of excess skin and/or musculature of the upper eyelid. The goal of blepharoplasty procedures is to give a more youthful, rejuvenated appearance, and in some cases, restore levels of peripheral vision. We also removed fat from her medial fat pad, which gave her eyelids a heavy look and feel before. This procedure was done in the office under local anesthesia, with the patient fully awake, comfortable, and safe. Downtime is minimal and we look forward to seeing her full results once the swelling subsides!
